While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

WHO: Gaza experiencing worst-case scenario for famine health system collapses and civilians starve

JERUSALEM, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed that Gaza is experiencing the worst-case famine scenario, as outlined in this week's alert from the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC). The agency reports a dramatic humanitarian breakdown, with people going without food for days and dying from starvation-related complications.

According to the WHO, many in Gaza are succumbing to disease and organ failure as prolonged hunger weakens their already fragile bodies. The health system—meant to provide care and relief—has been severely crippled by a lack of essential medicines, fuel, and supplies. Humanitarian and medical workers themselves are also suffering from hunger.

“Dying of starvation is slow and painful,” the WHO warned. “A starving child may cry from pain until they are too weak to cry at all. Without urgent treatment, children suffering from acute malnutrition will not survive.”

The organization emphasized that reversing this disaster will take extensive time and resources. Recovery for malnourished individuals requires targeted medical intervention, proper therapeutic feeding, and specific supplements. In severe cases, the effects are permanent—ranging from stunted physical growth to cognitive impairments and other lasting health issues.

Despite the worsening crisis, aid remains blocked. The WHO and other IPC partners plan to continue field assessments, but the severity of the situation is already clear. Humanitarian supplies prepared by United Nations partners are currently stationed at Gaza’s borders, awaiting clearance.

The WHO has called on Israel to immediately permit the safe and unrestricted entry and distribution of aid through all available channels. The agency reiterated its demand for the release of humanitarian workers, the release of all hostages, and an immediate ceasefire.

“Peace is the first step to recovery,” the statement concluded.

MSF: Israeli starvation policies exacerbating child malnutrition in Gaza

GENEVA, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières - MSF) warned on Thursday about the growing nutritional crisis affecting children in Gaza, stating that conditions are rapidly deteriorating due to ongoing Israeli military attacks and prolonged blockade in the region.

According to the organization, the number of children under the age of five suffering from acute malnutrition in Gaza has tripled in recent weeks. MSF medical teams are now treating an average of 25 new cases of severe malnutrition each day.

Enas Abu Khalaf, Communications Officer for the Middle East and North Africa at MSF, described the situation as “catastrophic in every sense,” citing firsthand reports from medical teams working on the ground.

UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, also issued a grim assessment, describing the situation as “the worst-case scenario for famine.” The agency stressed that the only way to prevent further deterioration is through the delivery of massive and sustained humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Abu Khalaf added: “This is an unprecedented humanitarian disaster. Our teams have been operating in Gaza continuously for 25 years, and we have never seen anything like this—not even during previous wars.”

She detailed the collapse of basic services, saying: “There is no electricity, no food, no humanitarian access. This is a systematic campaign of starvation, forced displacement, and constant military incursions. Israel is pushing civilians—including our staff, patients, and even infants—into a daily war zone.”

Abu Khleif also confirmed that an MSF staff member and his son were seriously injured in an Israeli strike that targeted a church, underlining that “there is no safe or sacred place left in Gaza.”

Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza: Israel fueling chaos and backing aid theft to deepen famine

Thursday 31-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza has accused the Israeli occupation army of deliberately spreading chaos across the Strip by targeting humanitarian aid convoys and supporting organized networks of looters, in a calculated effort to prevent aid from reaching over two million starving civilians.

In a statement issued Thursday, the ministry said Israeli occupation forces (IOF) are systematically attacking personnel tasked with securing aid trucks, including those supervised by international agencies, to disrupt organized delivery and maintain disorder.

“The occupation cannot tolerate any semblance of order in Gaza society,” the statement read, warning that such actions are part of a broader campaign to weaponize starvation.

Efforts by local families and clans to safeguard aid convoys were also reportedly thwarted, as the IOF targeted and killed dozens of young volunteers. The ministry said this effectively dismantled grassroots initiatives and blocked community-led solutions.

Holding Israel fully responsible for the chaos and theft plaguing aid deliveries, the Interior Ministry described Israeli-backed looters as “agents of the occupation” and vowed to continue emergency security operations against them.

It also condemned the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation,” an Israeli- and US-backed body, as a deceptive mechanism that masks systematic killings of civilians attempting to obtain food. The ministry reiterated that Israeli forces had massacred hundreds of Palestinians during aid distribution over the past two days alone.

Additionally, the ministry warned against the continued use of airdrops, saying they endanger civilians living in overcrowded tent camps and contribute to more chaos, injuries, and damaged aid, all while Israel presents the method as a humanitarian solution.

Calling on the international community to act, the ministry demanded an end to Israeli targeting of aid workers and urged that all humanitarian aid be delivered through experienced UN agencies to ensure it reaches those in need. It also appealed to Gazans to stay away from aid entry routes to reduce casualties and foil the Israeli attempts to manufacture disorder.

'Hamas welcomes international positions supporting Palestinian rights

Thursday 31-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement expressed its appreciation for the positive positions announced during the high-level international conference held in New York on the Palestinian cause.

In a statement released Thursday evening, the Movement said it views with great interest every step that could achieve positive progress in the Palestinian people’s struggle across various levels.

'Hamas welcomed international efforts and positions aimed at restoring the Palestinian people’s rights to their land and homeland, and establishing their independent state without conditions, considering this an inherent and natural right.

The Movement stressed that the recognition of a fully sovereign State of Palestine is the fruit of the continuous struggle of the Palestinian people and a reflection of respect for the rules of international law.

It reaffirmed that resistance and its weapons are a national and legal entitlement as long as the occupation persists, as endorsed by international charters and norms, and that they cannot be relinquished except through the full restoration of Palestinian rights and the establishment of a fully sovereign independent state.

'Hamas emphasized that halting the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing, followed by ending the occupation, is the first step in any serious international action, requiring the isolation of the occupation and the prosecution of its leaders as war criminals, rather than embracing them or signing agreements or normalization deals with them.

American doctor sends heart-wrenching message from Gaza: “Death here is beyond imagination”

Thursday 31-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Amid a worsening humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, as the Israeli siege continues to strangle what remains of life in the besieged enclave, rare testimonies are emerging from the ground, revealing what cameras cannot capture and what international delegations fail to witness.

Dr. Far'han 'Abdul 'Azeez, an American physician who entered Gaza as part of a volunteer medical team, described the situation as “beyond imagination,” affirming that the hunger and devastation surpass anything conceivable, and that the scenes of death and suffering he witnessed can no longer be ignored by the world.

“When numbers fail to tell the full story, only human eyes can,” said 'Abdul 'Azeez. “I didn’t come to Gaza as a visitor, I came as a witness. While bodies cried out for help and the moans of the dying echoed through halls without medicine, my voice trembled as I said: ‘We have seen the unimaginable… people are dying for no reason.’”

Conditions beyond comprehension

Speaking at a medical conference in Gaza, Dr. 'Abdul 'Azeez described how he saw “patients sprawled across the floors, without beds, without medicine, not even basic painkillers.” He added, “Every patient clutched my hand or leg and pleaded, ‘Help me… help me.’ But there was nothing I could give them, not because I didn’t want to, but because of the suffocating siege blocking medicines, equipment, food, and even clean water.”

He confirmed that hunger is ravaging the population, noting that many have lost muscle mass from severe malnutrition. “Everyone is starving. Everyone is crying for help, but nobody hears them. No international journalist is allowed inside Gaza to see this reality.”

“The world must act”

“We came here from America,” 'Abdul 'Azeez said. “We must bear witness before the world. Human rights mean access to treatment, food, and water, but the people of Gaza have been denied their most basic rights for nearly two years.”

Fighting back tears, he recalled: “Yesterday, I held in my hands the bodies of three children who had gone out simply to find food… They came back dead. Their mothers were weeping over their lifeless bodies. I swear, it’s a tragedy beyond words. The world must act.”

He questioned, “How much longer will this siege, this destruction, this bombing, and this forced displacement continue? Over a year ago, President Biden said Rafa'h was a red line, today, Rafah is destroyed and its people are starving to death.”

A call to open the crossings

In an emotional plea, Abdulaziz urged: “In America, we claim to stand for human rights. Yet the children of Gaza are dying of hunger. Open the crossings. Let food, medicine, and equipment in. People are dying here, dying for no reason.”

A war on hospitals

Israeli forces have repeatedly targeted Gaza’s hospitals, claiming they are used by resistance groups, but international investigations and reports have debunked these claims.

Recently, Dr. Fadhil Na'eem, director of Al-Ahli (Baptist) Hospital in Gaza City, revealed the extreme conditions under which medical teams work, saying: “Doctors are starving, deprived of food, sleep, and rest,” even as they push themselves to the brink to save lives.

The health sector in Gaza has collapsed, with dozens of hospitals out of service due to direct bombing or the depletion of fuel and medical supplies.

For 664 consecutive days, Israel has waged relentless war on Gaza, marked by horrific massacres and war crimes against civilians and displaced families trapped under siege.

Gaza: Hospitals receive 101 martyrs, death toll climbs to 60,239

Thursday 31-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC, WAFA)

During the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of at least 101 civilians, as well as 625 people suffering from different injuries following Israeli attacks, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, on Thursday morning.

Accordingly, a total of 9,071 people have been killed and 34,853 others have been injured since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025.

The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to 60,239 martyrs, including 1,320 aid seekers who were killed at or near US-backed distribution points, the health ministry said.

The ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 146,894 people, including 8,818 aid seekers.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of more martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

Two young men die from malnutrition amid Israel’s starvation war in Gaza

Thursday 31-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Two young men from Gaza died on Thursday due to malnutrition and starvation that have gripped the besieged Gaza Strip.

Family sources confirmed the death of Kareem Khalid Al-Jammal, 27, from Gaza, who suffered from health issues requiring a special diet that has been unavailable for months. His condition deteriorated until his death. Earlier today, another young man, 'Aadil Fawzi Madhi, was also declared dead at Nasir Medical Complex in Khan Younus.

According to medical sources, Al-Jammal was paralyzed, suffered from muscle weakness, and needed specialized nutrition, but the blockade deprived him of it, leading to his decline. Similarly, Madi died from starvation and malnutrition caused by the ongoing Israeli siege.

The Ministry of Health warned on Wednesday that “all futile attempts to deny the reality of famine are exposed by the numbers of emergency cases and deaths we have long warned about.”

Recent days have witnessed a spike in deaths from malnutrition. Children’s bodies have turned into skeletal frames, while fainting cases have surged across Gaza as hunger deepens and food scarcity worsens.

The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) earlier confirmed that food scarcity across most parts of Gaza has reached famine levels.

The IPC added that there is clear evidence showing that widespread hunger, malnutrition, and disease are driving an increase in hunger-related deaths.

A UN report earlier this week stated that 100% of Gaza’s population is facing severe levels of acute food insecurity under the ongoing war of extermination and blockade.

According to official data, 147 people have been starved to death since the war began, including 88 children.

Dozens of casualties as Israeli occupation army persists in its genocidal war on Gaza

Thursday 31-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army continued, last night and on Thursday, to carry out deadly attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli strike on tents sheltering displaced families in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus.

Five people, including three women, were martyred and several others suffered injuries, mostly children, in the Israeli attack on tents in Al-Mawasi area.

Another strike on a tent sheltering a displaced family killed a couple and their two children in Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza.

A mother and her three children were also massacred in a similar attack on a tent in the Beer 19 area of Khan Younus.

Three civilians were martyred and four others were injured following an Israeli strike that targeted an apartment belonging to the Salfeeti family in Gaza City’s A'hmed Yaseen street.

Last night, two nine-year-old kids were killed and others were injured when the Israeli army bombed their tent in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus.

Meanwhile, two people, including a child, were pronounced dead today due to starvation and malnutrition, according to Gaza’s health ministry.

More people were martyred or injured in Israeli attacks on aid seekers near US-backed distribution points in southern and central Gaza.

The Israeli army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women.

Meanwhile, several Palestinians in Gaza were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks.

Israeli strikes kill three, including woman, and injure dozens in Gaza and Khan Younus

GAZA, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Three Palestinians, including a woman, were killed and dozens more injured on Thursday as Israeli occupation forces continued their aerial attacks on civilians across the Gaza Strip.

According to WAFA correspondent, at least one woman was killed and multiple civilians—including children—were wounded when Israeli warplanes targeted a home in Jabalya Al-Balad, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

In a separate incident, a man was killed by an Israeli drone strike in the Qizan Al-Najjar area to the south of Khan Younus.

Meantime, medical sources at Al-Shifa Medical Complex reported the arrival of one fatality and several injuries following an Israeli airstrike on Al-Karama neighborhood in northwestern Gaza City.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 60,239 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 146,894 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Palestinian youth dies of malnutrition in Gaza

GAZA, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younus reported on Thursday the death of a young man from Rafa'h due to malnutrition and famine in the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said on Wednesday that seven citizens had died due to famine and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 154, including 89 children.

Gaza is experiencing the worst humanitarian crisis in its history, as the severe famine overlaps with the war of genocide waged by Israel since October 7, 2023.

Since March 2, 2025, Israel has closed all crossings with Gaza, preventing the entry of most food and medical aid, causing a famine outbreak within the Strip.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) warned that malnutrition among children under the age of five had doubled between March and June as a result of the ongoing blockade.

The World Health Organization confirmed that malnutrition rates in Gaza have reached alarming levels, and that the deliberate blockade and delays in aid have caused many lost lives. Nearly one in five children under the age of five in Gaza City suffers from severe malnutrition.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued the war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the killing of 60,138 citizens and the injury of 146,269 others.

Following this, Israeli occupation forces stormed the village and opened heavy fire toward the youths defending against the colonists’ intrusion. One young man was hit by live gunfire fragments in his shoulder; his condition was described as mild.

Infant suffocates from tear gas fired by Israeli forces during raid near Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

A 6-month-old baby girl suffered from tear gas inhalation on Thursday after being shot by Israeli forces during a raid on the village of Tabaqa, southwest of Hebron.

Eight others were detained from several villages and towns in Al-Khaleel (Hebron) district.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces stormed the village of Tabaqa, southwest of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), raided several homes, and fired tear gas canisters at them. A 6-month-old baby girl suffered from tear gas inhalation and was given medical treatment.

Media activist Mu'hammed 'Awadh told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the town of Bait Ummar, north of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), raided several homes, deliberately smashing their doors and destroying their contents.

They used dogs to search citizens' belongings and kidnapped 'Awni A'hmed Al-'Alami, 48, and his son Ahmad, 18, Nour Khalid Khaleel, 17, and Ibraheem Mu'hammed 'Adi, 35, after assaulting him and seizing his vehicle.

In the village of Umm al-Khair in the Masafir Yatta area, activist Osama Makhamra reported that Israeli occupation forces stormed the village, raided citizens' homes, searched them, and ransacked their contents. They kidnapped Omar Suleiman Al-'Hathaleen, Ajdi' Al-'Hathaleen, 'Alaa Al-'Hathaleen, and 'Omar Al-'Hathaleen.

He added that an armed group of settlers attacked Khirbet Maghayir Al-'Ubaid and attempted to steal a flock of sheep belonging to citizen Shi'hada Al-Makhamra. They threatened his family with deportation.

It is worth noting that the village of Umm Al-Khair and other villages and residential communities in the Masafir Yatta area are subjected to continuous attacks by the occupation forces and armed settler groups.

This resulted in the killing of activist and teacher 'Awda Al-'Hathaleen, 31, by a bullet fired at point-blank range by a settler last Monday.

IOFs assault, kidnap Palestinians during raids in the West Bank

Thursday 31-July-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) assaulted some Palestinian citizens and kidnaped several others during raids in the West Bank last night and on Thursday morning.

According to local sources, a 6-month-old female infant suffered from her exposure to tear gas during an IOFs raid in Al-Tabaqa village, southwest of al-Khalil.

The IOFs reportedly kidnapped four citizens during violent raids on homes in Bait Ummar town, north of Al-Khaleel.

Local sources said that Israeli soldiers assaulted one of the detainees in Bait Ummar town and confiscated his car.

Four other people from the family of Al-'Hathaleen were taken prisoner during an IOFs raid in Umm Al-Khair town in Masafir Yatta, south of al-Khalil province.

A group of extremist Jewish settlers attacked Maghayir Al-Abeed village in Masafir Yatta and tried to steal sheep from a shepherd. They reportedly threatened to force the shepherd and his family to leave the area.

Another group of settlers set up a new illegal outpost on swaths of Palestinian-owned land in Joarat Al-Khail area near Sa’ir town, northeast of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

In Nablus, the IOFs kidnapped three young men from the city and two others from the towns of 'Odala and Quseen.

The IOFs also stormed Lubban Al-Sharqiya village in southern Nablus, where local sources reported some arrests and raids on homes.

In Toulkarm, Israeli occupation soldiers intercepted and searched an ambulance at Jabara checkpoint and kidnapped a paramedic.

Another citizen was kidnapped by the IOFs in the western neighborhood of Toulkarm City.

Israeli occupation soldiers also severally beat a citizen last night during his presence inside his store in Toulkarm’s western neighborhood. He was rushed to a hospital for medical assistance.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces kidnapped last night a farmer after detaining him and members of his family for several hours during their presence on a piece of agricultural land belonging to them in the Wadi Saif area of Bait Fajjar town.

Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers stormed the area after a horde of settlers attacked the farmer and his family, adding that the soldiers ordered the landowners not to return to their property.

The IOFs also stormed Janata town in eastern Bethlehem and fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at commercial stores to force the owners to close their businesses.

In Jenin, Israeli soldiers detained last night a number of displaced citizens from Jenin refugee camp as they were trying to reach their homes — which are being used by the IOFs as military barracks.

In Qalqilya, the IOFs stormed the city and kidnapped two young men from their homes.

Despite ongoing attacks, displaced Palestinians return to Arab al-Mleihat community near Aree'ha (Jericho)

Aree'ha (Jericho), July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Dozens of Palestinians from the 'Arab Al-Mulai'hat community began returning on Thursday evening to their land northwest of Aree'ha (Jericho), east of the occupied West Bank, nearly a month after they were forcibly displaced due to Israeli military and colonist attacks.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, residents were driven from their homes on July 4 by sustained assaults carried out by Israeli colonists and occupation forces, who have continued efforts to uproot the community from its land.

Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights confirmed the residents' return after 27 days of displacement, stating that the return took place under heavy Israeli military surveillance and pressure, and with the accompaniment of peace activists.

'Hasan Al-Mulai'hat, general coordinator of Al-Baydar, said in a statement that shortly after the return, Israeli colonists surrounded and attacked a home where several returning residents had gathered, aiming to prevent their reestablishment in the area and keep them under constant threat of renewed expulsion.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces seized a vehicle carrying wooden planks intended for the community, claiming the materials were “prohibited construction supplies.” The vehicle was confiscated and taken to a military outpost, and Israeli police were summoned under the pretext that the vehicle was “unauthorized.”

Al-Mulai'hat emphasized that these measures are part of a systematic policy aimed at depopulating the area of its indigenous residents through relentless pressure and harassment. He added that the determination of the 'Arab Al-Mulai'hat residents to return to their land stands as a form of resistance against discriminatory practices and forced displacement.

Illegal Israeli settler groups to organize provocative march in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Illegal Israeli settler groups have announced their intention to organize a provocative Judaization march in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on August 9.

This Judaization move comes as part of a broader plan to support the construction of the alleged "Third Temple," which poses a direct threat to Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The event is being organized by the so-called "Israel Forever" organization and the "Jeanne Koffler Foundation: Jerusalem III," under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.

The Judaization march will start from what is known as "Independence Park," followed by a flag march, passing through several of Jerusalem's historic gates, including Damascus Gate, Bab Al-Sahira, and Bab Al-Asbat, before concluding at Al-Buraq Square. This is part of ongoing attempts to impose the "Israeli" narrative on the city and consolidate its alleged control over it.

A number of Israeli government ministers and far-right figures are scheduled to participate in the march, including the extremist Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and the Israeli Minister of Heritage, Amichai Eliyahu, along with the chair of the Knesset's "Temple Affairs" Committee, Limor Son Har-Melech.

According to a report by Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate, the first half of 2025 in occupied Jerusalem witnessed an escalation in the occupation's attacks on the city, in a systematic attempt to consolidate colonial control and Judaize it.

Human rights organizations documented 143 attacks carried out by settlers against Palestinians in Jerusalem, including 26 physical assaults, all of which occurred under the protection of the occupation army. These attacks included the desecration of holy sites and incitement against Palestinian citizens in their neighborhoods.

Illegal Israeli colonists attack Palestinian vehicles in Salfit and Bethlehem areas

RAMALLAH, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Illegal Israeli settler attacks launched separate attacks on Thursday evening targeting Palestinian vehicles near the town of Bruqeen in the central West Bank province of Salfeet and in the Bethlehem province in the south of the region.

In Salfeet, local sources told WAFA that a group of colonists gathered near Bruqeen and pelted Palestinian cars with stones. No injuries or damage were reported.

Meanwhile, in the Bethlehem area, Palestinian security sources said that colonists assembled near the main road at the roundabout of the illegal Gush Etzion settlement bloc, where they blocked traffic and threw stones at passing vehicles, causing damage to several of them.

Palestinian communities across the West Bank, including Salfeet and Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), continue to endure repeated assaults by Israeli colonists, often under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Illegal Israeli settlers set fire to vehicle tire repair workshop near Nablus

NABLUS, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Thursday set fire to a vehicle tire repair workshop in the village of Bazarya, northwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

Tayseer Al-Safareeni, head of the Bazarya village council, said that colonists attacked the eastern outskirts of the village and deliberately ignited a shop and workshop used for tire repairs. The blaze caused significant damage and triggered confrontations between local residents and the assailants.

This attack is part of a broader surge in violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian communities across the West Bank, which has escalated sharply in recent months with full impunity from the far-right Israeli government.

PNC says illegal Israeli settler attacks aim to ethnically cleanse Palestinians

RAMALLAH, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian National Council (PNC) said that the colonists' attacks on the towns of Silwad, Abu Fala'h, and Rammoun, east of Ramallah, and burning property under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, are part of a plan to intimidate and ethnically cleanse Palestinians, adding it's a plan whose roles complement each other in implementing annexation and Judaization plans.

The PNC noted in a statement issued on Thursday that the settler militias, which are committing crimes in West Bank towns, burning homes, and terrorizing civilians, are operating in direct coordination and under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, in a field partnership that clearly reveals the division of roles between the army and the settler militias within a systematic ethnic cleansing plan aimed at uprooting Palestinian people.

It pointed out that what is happening in the West Bank reflects the same plan being implemented in the Gaza Strip: comprehensive aggression, genocide, and forced displacement aimed at uprooting Palestinians from their land in service of a racist colonial project.

The National Council called on the international community to abandon double standards, respect international humanitarian law, and hold the occupation leaders accountable for the war crimes committed daily against our defenseless people, who are facing genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Israeli forces demolish two homes, other structures near Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday demolished two homes and four agricultural rooms in the village of Wadi Ra'hal, south of Bethlehem, as part of the policy of forced displacement and the tightening of the noose on citizens in Area C.

'Ammar Hijazi, a member of the Wadi Rahal village council, told WAFA correspondent that large IOF forces, accompanied by bulldozers and military vehicles, stormed the village and began extensive demolition operations, targeting four agricultural rooms used for storing agricultural equipment and materials.

He added that the military bulldozers also demolished two homes, each measuring approximately 200 square meters, one belonging to Ahmed al-Badawi and the other to the Saad family.

Wadi Ra'hal village is one of the areas threatened by seizure and settlement expansion, given its proximity to the Efrat colony, built on Palestinian lands south of Bethlehem. It frequently witnesses demolitions and bulldozing operations targeting the Palestinian presence.

It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities demolished 588 facilities in the first half of this year, causing harm to 843 citizens, including 411 children. During the same period, they issued demolition notices to 556 facilities, including 322 inhabited homes, 18 uninhabited ones, 151 agricultural facilities, and 97 facilities classified as sources of livelihood and others, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.

Russia says its recognition of Palestine helped preserve the two-state solution

MOSCOW, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin said that Russia's recognition of the State of Palestine contributed to preserving the possibility of a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

He added in a press statement that Russia has developed its relations with Palestine, and the Palestinian Embassy has been operating in Moscow since 1990.

Vershinin continued: "The two-state solution remains the most reliable and only option for resolving this long-standing conflict, and Russia has always called for a permanent settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict based on recognized international law."

He called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, noting that Russia raised this issue during bilateral meetings with participants in the high-level international conference to support a settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Vershinin said: "We met with many of the participants in this conference, including with representatives of the United Nations, in particular Secretary-General António Guterres, and discussed the two-state solution and how we can best achieve a real and just peace in the Middle East.

This is a strategic goal, and the urgent task is to stop the bloodshed, which is unfortunately taking place today, especially in the Gaza Strip, with a large number of victims and severe suffering among the civilian population."

Canada intends to recognize State of Palestine next September, says PM

OTTAWA, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced Wednesday evening his country's intention to recognize the State of Palestine during the UN General Assembly session next September.

This came during a press conference held by the Prime Minister, during which he confirmed that Canada has decided to recognize the State of Palestine in September and that it will continue to work with partners in the international community, Britain, and France, until the two-state solution is implemented.

Carney said that the possibility of achieving a two-state solution is evaporating before our eyes due to the expansion of colonies and unilateral actions by Israel in the West Bank and what is happening in the Gaza Strip, all of which reduce the possibility of establishing a Palestinian state.

"This is what prompted us to make this decision, and we are working to make it an effective solution again," he said.

He stressed Canada's support for the priorities announced by President Mahmoud Abbas, namely a ceasefire, the entry of medical and humanitarian aid, Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and a commitment to holding general elections.

Carney also discussed Canadian efforts to provide aid to the Gaza Strip in cooperation with Jordan.

German FM says negotiated two-state solution only way for Palestine, Israel to live in peace

BERLIN, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said on Thursday that Germany is convinced that a negotiated two-state solution remains the only way to enable both sides to live in peace, security, and dignity, and to resolve the conflict sustainably.

He added in a press statement: "For Germany, recognition of a Palestinian state is likely to come at the end of the negotiation process, but such a process must begin now. Germany will not deviate from this goal and will also be forced to respond to unilateral steps."

Wadephul explained that the UN conference in New York demonstrated that Israel is increasingly finding itself in a minority position. Given the public threats of annexation by some members of the Israeli government, a significantly increasing number of countries, including European countries, are prepared to recognize a Palestinian state, even without a prior negotiation process.

The region and the Middle East peace process are at a crossroads, and Germany, given its special responsibility towards Israel, cannot and should not remain aloof from this issue. He said that the death toll and suffering in the Gaza Strip have reached unimaginable proportions. At the same time, Israel must provide immediate, comprehensive, and sustainable relief in light of the catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip. Germany remains fully prepared to provide support to alleviate the suffering.

He continued that, given the extremely tragic situation, airdropping relief supplies, in which Germany will participate in the coming days, is also a means of quickly delivering urgent relief supplies to those in need. At the same time, intensive work must continue to rebuild the existing humanitarian land route, which airdrops cannot replace, as relief supplies can only reach people in sufficient quantities by land.

Wadephul urged the Israeli government to allow the United Nations and international relief agencies safe access, and, most importantly, safe and effective distribution.

Palestine's Chinese Ambassador says China support a just solution to the Palestinian cause

RAMALLAH, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Chinese Ambassador to Palestine Zeng Jixin said on Thursday that his country supports a just solution to the Palestinian cause and the outcomes of the international conference on a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution, which was held midway through this week at the United Nations in New York.

In a press conference held at the Chinese embassy in Ramallah, he added that his country supports a just solution to the Palestinian issue and that pressure must be exerted to reach a comprehensive ceasefire to alleviate the humanitarian crisis. He urged the concerned parties to intervene urgently to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza. He called on Israel to fulfill its obligations under international humanitarian law, restore aid to Gaza, and support the United Nations and international institutions in providing humanitarian aid to Gaza. He called on the Security Council to take all necessary measures to end the worst humanitarian crisis in modern times.

Jixin explained that Gaza and the West Bank must be administered by the Palestinians, as they are an integral part of the Palestinian territories. Changing the status of Gaza by force and annexing the West Bank will not bring peace. China rejects any actions that violate international law, rejects the construction of settlements, supports the Arab plan for administering Gaza, supports the Palestinian Authority to administer the West Bank and Gaza, and is committed to providing all necessary resources for the reconstruction of Gaza.

He said that Palestine must be supported to strengthen its internal unity, enhance its governance capacity, and bolster its economic resilience. China supports the Palestinian Authority in strengthening its influence and effectively performing its duties. In July of last year, it hosted a meeting of the factions, where the Beijing Declaration was signed. China also provides various types of assistance and training to Palestine and stands ready to work with the international community to continue providing assistance and support to Palestine.

Australian PM affirms strong support for the two-state solution

CANBERRA, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, said on Thursday that he discussed the situation in Gaza with his British counterpart, Keir Starmer, and affirmed his government's strong support for the two-state solution.

In a statement, Albanese said that he and Starmer agreed to leverage international momentum to achieve a ceasefire and accelerate the delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip.

The Australian Treasurer, Jim Chalmers, said on Thursday that "the government will push for a two-state solution. It is a matter of when, not if, Australia will recognize a Palestinian state... but I don't want to put a timeframe on that."

France, Britain, Malta, and Canada have all announced successively that they will recognize a Palestinian state during the UN General Assembly next September.

On Wednesday, France, Australia, Canada, Finland, New Zealand, Portugal, Andorra, Malta, San Marino, Luxembourg, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, Slovenia, and Norway issued a collective call to recognize the State of Palestine and called on more countries to join this effort.

In a joint statement, the 15 countries called for "an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages, and the guarantee of unhindered humanitarian access."

They added: "We have already recognized, or have expressed, or are expressing our countries' willingness or positive outlook to recognize the State of Palestine as an essential step towards a two-state solution, and we call on all countries that have not yet done so to join this call."

They continued: "We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the vision of a two-state solution, where two democratic states, Israel and Palestine, live side by side in peace within secure and recognized borders, in accordance with international law and relevant UN resolutions."

93 Dem. US representatives call for investigation into Gaza Humanitarian Foundation

WASHINGTON, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) –

Ninety-three Democratic members of the US House of Representatives called on Secretary of State Marco Rubio to open an urgent investigation into the structure and operation of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which currently manages aid distribution sites in the Gaza Strip.

In an official letter, they expressed their deep concern that the foundation has become the primary or sole entity responsible for delivering aid, despite its lack of the necessary competence and expertise.

They emphasized that delivering humanitarian aid to Palestinians in a safe and effective manner is a moral obligation and essential for Israel's security as well as for progress on the prisoners' issue.

The representatives strongly criticized what they described as the lack of transparency and oversight of the foundation, noting that the adopted distribution model, based on first-come, first-served access, has caused chaos and casualties.

They demanded disclosure of the foundation's sources of funding and details of its contracts with security companies and aid suppliers.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
